Gangnam Style Rises to Top

Mashable reported yesterday that Psy’s “Gangnam Style” has taken the #1 most viewed YouTube video of all time, surpassing Justin Beiber’s “Baby” with over 805 million views and over 5 million likes.  I can only say that I agree 100% as it has become the most requested song at my weddings and events, and the quantity and frequency of requests has put it at the very top in the last 8+ years since I’ve been DJ’ing. Open Dance after Bride & Groom’s First Dance Before Dinner? Check Your Flow

I just finished a consultation with a Bride & Groom for their wedding and we discussed doing an “Open Dance” of one song with all of the guests immediately following their first dance, which is happening before dinner.  (As opposed to having the first Open Dance after dinner to start off the dancing portion of the night. )  Having everyone come out to the dancefloor before dinner is a nice way to change things up a bit, get everyone out of their seats and do something unique....
