Wedding Planner Chooses Blake for Her Own Reception

Debi Frumkin is no stranger to planning a wedding; in her decade as an event planner and today as the owner of A Silver Lining, she’s helped hundreds of couples and corporations ensure their special events are truly extraordinary. When it came to planning her own wedding, she certainly had a leg up on other brides, given her firsthand knowledge of “bests” for every wedding component.

Debi lives in San Diego, but her New Year’s Eve wedding will take place in San Francisco. She’s certainly going to make use of a number of local services, but she’s chosen to “import” her DJ/MC from San Diego, hiring Blake Miller of Pro Motion Entertainment to do those honors.

“I’ve recommended Blake to many of my couples and clients, and they have always been delighted at his performance,” Debi said. “It’s my business to know the best vendors for weddings and events, so despite the added expense I’ll incur for having Blake travel north, I knew he’d be the best man for the job.”

Debi knows a great DJ can ensure a wedding is memorable for the bride and groom as well as their guests. One without professionalism, charisma and event-capturing abilities can have the opposite effect. Debi’s received glowing recommendations from couples who’ve used Blake at their weddings, and they’re not the only ones who are fans of Blake, as he was recently recognized in The Knot’s 2007 Best of Weddings.

Debi’s wedding will occur on the evening of December 31, and the reception will serve a dual purpose: celebrating the newlyweds and ringing in the New Year. Debi’s quite sure that Blake’s experience and energy, as well as his thorough planning to ensure his services perfectly fit her wedding, will ensure everyone has a spectacular evening and a great start to 2008.
