Add elegant and eye-pleasing uplighting to your room or event center. Up Lighting that is shown up walls, columns or spotted onto a specific area will bring a beautiful and stimulating feel to your event – all to make it better! Even place them outside and shine them up trees or into bushes and shrubbery.

Choose from 64 different colors to beautifully match your style, theme or the desired feel you’re looking to achieve. Uplighting can be placed on the floor to shine up columns, up walls or behind trees and other props to give that extra appeal. They can also be clamped onto railings, trusses or onto tree’s for outdoor applications.

LED versus Incadescent?

I use whatever light is best for the situation.  When possible, I use modern LED style fixtures which are smaller, more discrete, use less electricity (your venue manager will love this) and offer a wider range of colors. They operate virtually “cold” so you do not have to worry about curious kids burning themselves. They use only 13 watts per fixture, versus up to 300 for a large PAR can fixture.

However, many LED fixtures do NOT do well in the Yellow, Gold, Amber and Orange ranges UNLESS one has the newer LED fixtures that are appearing in the markets beginning in 2010.  Traditional PAR cans will always do excellent in the Yellow, Gold, Amber ranges.

LED fixtures do great in the Blue, Purple, Magenta color ranges.

At the same time, LED fixtures do really well in the Blue, Hot Pink and Magenta ranges so if you’re looking for that “clubby” feel or ultra-chic contemporary look, then ask for LED Fixtures.

How Many Uplights Should I Get?

Great question and is asked often.  Our Standard (and Minimum) package comes with 8 fixtures.  Additional fixtures are always available and easily added to the package for a minimal cost.

  • 8 Lights – Basic/Minimum Package (Full coverage for Small room, Decent coverage for medium room)
  • 12 Lights – Full coverage for Smaller room (<150 ppl), Better Coverage for Medium sized rooms (150-250)
  • 16 Lights – Maximum Coverage for Medium sized rooms, Decent coverage for large rooms)
  • 20+ Lights – Larger Rooms (300+ persons) or Lights applied to different areas (foryers, outside areas, etc.)

We have done as many as 32 uplights for a medium sized wedding of 150 people so we can balance out whatever your desires and budget will allow.
