How Does it All Work?

Many ask "So, how does this process work?"

  1. We will start by providing a personal consultation where we will review your needs and customize my services to match.  Most of the time, a face-to-face meeting is recommended, but not required.  I have an office in the heart of San Diego, located minutes off of I-15 or I-8 in Mission Valley.  This is the time for you to get to know me and learn more about my services.

(This is going to be a rewarding experience over a few months - at least.  You need someone great to work with from start to finish - or you may be miserable!)

  1. If you decide to book with me, we will draft a professional contract.  A $500 retainer is also required.  Soon after, your  file is created within my system along with your customized Online Planning System.

At some later date, we will meet again in person, sometimes at the event venue, my office or where ever is convenient for us to hold the detailed planning meeting.  We will cover the standard practices, allow you to offer your own ideas and also provide you with unique activities to keep. We'll review:
  • Wedding Ceremony Highlights (if ceremony service is a part of the package)
  • Reception Highlights
  • Event Timeline
  • Music Selections
  • Room Arrangement and Flow of Event

Whenever you're comfortable

But most common is 2-3 weeks out.

  1. An Event Information Form is then developed and refined to ensure all details are covered.  It is then uploaded to my customized Online Planning System where we will all have 24/7 access.

(Most events have ALOT of things going on at once, and it is VITAL to ensure everything is running smoothly, or your event will fail!)

  1. I will then work with the venue and/or other coordinators to ensure every detail is covered and planned.  You can be ensured that from this point on, your event will run smoothly.  At any time, I welcome your input and will work with you to ensure you are 100% satisfied.  Remember this is your event and I will work with you to ensure you are completely satisfied.

Suit & Tie

is most common - though I can go up to a full tuxedo, or down to Hawaiian garb... I'll dress to "fit" the event.

  1. Finally, I am 100% committed to ensure your event is a success!  I will arrive early, meet with yourselves, the venue coordinator(s) and other service providers to ensure our planning fits the bill for the event.
