Vivian Glyck’s Just Like My Child foundation held their 8th annual gala fundraiser – it was an affair to remember! It was our 5th year in a row providing complete Sound, AV and Tech support for the event and after weeks of planning, site visits and production run-throughs, it was a huge success!
This year the gala was held at SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, and it celebrated The Million Girl Movement: Empowering Vulnerable Girls To Change The World. Attendees celebrated the power of women and girls to change the world through Just Like My Child Foundation’s Girl Power Project®, a sustainable solution to extreme poverty and inequality in Africa and beyond.
Guests had the chance to mingle with luminaries from the Hollywood music and film industry in the elegant Albert Ballroom, designed by Philippe Starck. There was also an Elite VIP Hour in the festive “Hall of Mirrors”, phenomenal entertainment, and a priceless live auction. Author Marianne Williamson did an invocation and introductory remarks, and further entertainment was provided by the 16 year old star of The Voice, Timyra Joi.
